Anna Norris
Anna Norris, the owner, has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Western Michigan University. She is a Candidate Member of the American Society of Appraisers, working towards her Senior Accreditation. She has diverse experience and brings dedication, energy and enthusiasm to MVS and our clients.
Work Experience:
- Appraiser for Machinery Valuation Specialists, LLC since 2016
- Has worked on over 200 appraisals throughout the United States
- Co-presented “Biofuels and Biofuel Equipment” to the 2022 American Society of Appraisers International Conference

Terry Podgorski, ASA
Terry Podgorski, our senior appraiser, has over 30 years of diverse experience to offer for your appraisal needs. Some of the highlights are listed below.
Work Experience:
- Former Owner and Senior Appraiser of Machinery Valuation Specialists
- Full time experience since 1994 as a machinery and equipment appraiser
- Has completed over 1600 appraisals throughout the United States
- Has given expert witness testimony in Civil Court and U.S. Bankruptcy Court
- Co-presented “Biofuels and Biofuel Equipment” to the 2022 American Society of Appraisers International Conference
- Twenty years experience in manufacturing management as Production Planner, Production Control Supervisor, Purchasing Agent, Material Control and Purchasing Manager, Manufacturing Manager, and Vice President of Operations
Education and Associations:
- Graduate of Grand Valley State University, Allendale, Michigan, BA, Magna Cum Laude
- Accredited Senior Appraiser of the American Society of Appraisers (ASA)
- Has completed ASA Machinery and Technical Specialties Core Courses, Report Writing, Marine Survey, and Inventory Appraisal and appraisals for financial reporting courses, covering appraising for machinery and equipment, inventories, marine survey, etc.
